Again, my name is Anne. I was inspired by someone I know name Tony to create this website. Tony had some interesting points about the word NIGGER although most of our young people say aka (NIGGA).The word NIGGER means - 1. a black person, 2. a member of any dark-skinned race, 3. a member of a socially disadvantaged class of persons of America's (NIGGERS)...all the people who feel left out of the political process by Ron Dellums. Usage past writers such as Mark Twain and Charles Dickens and Joseph Conrad perhaps say this is most offensive and inflammatory racial slur in English. It's use by and among blacks is not always intented or taken as offensive, but, except in a sense , it is otherwise a word expressive of racial hatred and bigotry. This meaning is taken from the Merriam-Webster's Collegiate (R) Dictionary.
Why do we as a nationality of black people except not only our kind but other races to say the word NIGGER AKA (NIGGA)?
Again, Tony inspired me to make this website and I'm going to share his views with you. Tony feels that the word NIGGA is taken very lightly. He opposes all people who use this word. He feels many people died over this word mainly black people and people should be very consciences about the word NIGGER OR NIGGA. Many people use this word and came up with their own theories of what the word means. Some people feel it's a racial word given to us by slave owners and the younger generations feel it's just a word so they use it in rap songs. It's an everyday language to young people because they say things like this: 1. What up my NIGGA? 2. This is my NIGGA! 3. Where is that NIGGA? 4. That NIGGA better have my money. 5. Wait until I see that NIGGA. 6. I'm going to snuff that NIGGA. 7. That NIGGA is a punk. 8. My NIGGA got it going on. 9. Yo, that NIGGA is cool. 10. That NIGGA is funny. Tony feels that we need to really teach and he urges not only black people but other nationalities as well to teach what the word NIGGER OR NIGGA really means. It's a deragatory word and that's the way he sees it. Tony wants people to understand the struggle that blacks went through and mainly our children should understand why it's offensive and the word shouldn't be thrown around all over the place. Now keep a open mind when you read this and here Tony's views. PLEASE I DON'T WANT PEOPLE TO TAKE OFFENSE OF THIS BUT THIS IS HOW TONY WILL GET HIS POINT ACROSS TO YOU. You don't here Whites running around saying, this is my (HUNKY OR CRACKER). You don't here Hispanics running around saying, this is my (SPICK). You don't here Chinese people running around saying, this is my (Chink).You don't here Jew going around saying, this is my (Kike) why because these names are offensive to their race. Not only do we need to educate our children and all children about the word NIGGER OR NIGGA, WE NEED TO STOP OTHER NATIONALITIES FROM USING THE WORD ALSO. THEY DON'T USE THE WORD THAT'S OFFENSIVE TO THEIR RACE, SOOOOOOO THEY SHOULDN'T BE ABLE TO USE THE WORD THAT'S OFFENSIVE TO BLACK PEOPLE EITHER!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Let's put a stop to this and STOP using the word NIGGER OR NIGGA for everyday use. Other races of people don't use it because it offensive and it hurts. No one should use any nationalities offensive word and make light of. But, only 1 thing, It's our deragatory word their making light of and the game is over. It's not a joke no more.! Please everyone educate your children on this issue and let's put a stop to this. When I say put a stop to this I'm talking to everyone not just the rappers or certain famous people, it's for all people. STOP USING THE WORD NIGGER OR NIGGA LIGHTLY BECAUSE IF WE CAN'T USE YOUR WORD DON'T USE OUR OFFENSIVE WORD. I know Jennifer Lopez used the word Nigga in her song. She's not black, she's Hispanic and she should have not used that word. She could have used boys, homeboys or a different word, yet she used that word and blacks accepted her using this word. That was wrong on her and our people to be allowing anyone to use the word so freely and that's why it's out of hand now. That's just to prove Tony's point. Now a couple of year's ago Michael Jackson tried to use the offensive word Kike, referring to the Jews in his song and the Jews said "no way" take that word out of your song and you know what. They took all his records or cd's off the shelf because of that word (Kike) ok. This is Tony's argument about our offensive word NIGGER OR NIGGA. WHAT I'M SAYING IS STOP USING THIS WORD BECAUSE YOU WOULDN'T LIKE IT IF PEOPLE THREW YOUR OFFENSIVE WORD AROUND! Let's put a stop to anyone using this WORD NIGGER OR NIGGA!
